Breaking Ground - Late Summer!

After 3 decades of planning and community engagement, the City of Oakland will soon replace the existing center with a new two-story, 22,221 square-foot recreation facility. The new center, managed by the Oakland Parks, Recreation and Youth Development Department, will be bigger and better suited to serve neighborhood and City residents. In addition to being a recreation center, it will also be the City’s first community resilience hub
